The two most recent snowfalls here in Chicago have awakened Juli and Hobbes from their unseasonably brown and dry winter slumber.

Our dog trainer filmed some of class last weekend and posted it online. If you click the link below, you can see Hobbes walking into the vet’s office, being weighed and meeting the vet tech. Obviously he is the star pupil.

Hobbes will be six months old on Sunday – boy does time fly. And I would like to know who stole our adorable 20 lb. puppy

August 18, 2011 - 20 lbs.

We bought Juli a pair of Ruff wear dog boots. Needless to say, we hope she will eventually warm-up to them…

After a long day at the beach, followed by puppy class, Juli and Hobbes spent the evening cuddling. Well, Juli was napping and Hobbes was napping/scooting closer to Juli. He only ever really ended up snuggling with her backside, but his attempts led to some hilarious pictures:
